Chapter 2: How To Use Style XP And How Load a Theme, In this case you will use the downloaded one

FIRST OF ALL THIS IS HOW TO INSTALL STYLE XP

Style XP 2.0 comes in three flavors: Female, Male, and the Update. If you have downloaded Style XP 2.0 once, then you only need to download the update (which is 30% of the original size). The download contains a ZIP file. You will need to open up the ZIP file by double clicking on it or "Open"ing the file after downloading it. The ZIP file will contain one file: the installation executable. Double-click on the installation executable to begin the installation process.

Please review the End Use Licensing Agreement (EULA) before continuing with the software installation. Please note that Style XP does install two services (StyleXPService and StyleXPHelper). These two services can be auto-unloaded when they start so that Style XP consumes no memory. Style XP will not touch any system files. Style XP will not collect any information or transmit any information to anyone. Style XP contains no "ads" or any other "hidden" software.

If you agree to the EULA, Style XP will always install software in the same place: the same drive as Windows® XP is installed in the

\Program Files\TGTSoft\StyleXP directory. Temporary files are also stored in this directory. If you uninstall the software, it will delete this directory (so be careful not to store any themes there).

After the software installation is complete, Style XP will prompt you to test either the "Panther" skin or the "Coughdrop" skin depending on whether you installed the male or the female version respectively. If you are a first time installer of Style XP, please try the skin to make sure the software is working.

Style XP only supports almost all builds of Windows® XP, Tablet PC, and Server 2003. Please see our home page for more details.
Themes contain Visual Styles, Backgrounds, Cursors, Icons, Sounds, and Screen Savers. Themes are often confused with Visual Styles because changing a Theme can change your Visual Style (and a whole bunch of other things too!) A Theme comes from a .theme file which is usually found in your \Windows\Resources\Themes directory. Microsoft provides users with a default Theme known as Luna. Style XP will never change your Luna Theme. Instead, you will be prompted to create a new Theme if you do try to change it. Themes can be downloaded from ThemeXP.org. To add a new Theme, just download and add the ZIP file. You can also create, delete, and modify new Themes. Add a new "Search Path" to have Style XP auto-scan your drive for new Themes you might have downloaded or installed.

Previewing a Theme

When you click on the ‘Themes’ tab you will get a list of Themes on the left hand side.

Click on these entries to preview what is included in that Theme. To scroll, click on the scroll button in the upper right or lower right corners. Hold down the scroll button for fast scrolling. You can also scroll by using the PgUp, PgDn, Home, End, Down, and Up arrow keys. You can also scroll by using the mouse wheel found on most modern mice.

Theme Parts

This section contains the different parts of a Theme you can preview. Click on ‘Visual Style’ to preview the Visual Style portion of the theme.

Click on ‘Background’ to see what your background wallpaper will look like with the selected Theme.

Click on ‘Sounds’ to preview any sounds that are included with the Theme. If you click on Sounds, you can also play them by clicking on the sound buttons that appear in the preview area.

Display Properties

Click on the 'Display Properties' button to open the Control Panel version of the Display Properties. This is a useful shortcut for getting to the control panel section used to change Themes.

Create New Theme

Click on this button to create a new Theme. You can make a copy of an existing Theme, or you can create a Theme from scratch. After you create a new Theme, you can ‘Apply’ it and then change the Visual Style and Background associated with the Theme.

Rename

Click on this button to choose a new name for the Theme you are currently previewing. Renaming can be a useful way to help organize Themes as Style XP will always display them in alphabetical order.

Reset to XP Default

Click on this button to reset your current Theme to the default Luna Theme that comes with Windows XP. If you are going to uninstall, we suggest clicking on this first to make sure you are not using a third party Visual Style.

Apply Theme

This button will apply the Theme you are currently previewing to your system. Your Background, Visual Style, Sounds, Cursors, Icons, and Screen Savers may all change when you change a Theme.

Add a New Theme

Click on this button to add a Theme to your list of Themes that is on your computer. This is the easiest way to add a Theme that you have downloaded. You can browse to a zip file that you have downloaded and Style XP will automatically unzip the contents where they need to go in order for you to use that Theme.

Download

In this Case you will download the mac skin, IF YOU FUCKING USE ANOTHER SKIN BEFORE FINISHING THIS TUTORIAL I SWEAR TO GOD I"M GOING TO



Delete Selected Theme

This button will delete the Theme you currently have selected. Be careful, you will not be prompted when deleting. Deleting cannot be undone. For your own protection, Style XP will not allow you to delete the default Luna Theme.

Just cause it's long doesn't mean it's hard, This Guide is for n00bs, cause it goes in dept a lot. ( A bit too much, But what basicly all that means is, Download the files click enable rocketdock,
enable the theme and your done lol

Harr harr I didn't do that... I actual replaced my uxtheme.dll with photoshop... Bad decision..

Why would you ruin your PC by making it look like a Mac.
I'm using a Mac now because the quality is amazing, but other than that I hate Macs.
